We offer a unique CallerID for every Entry Phone on our system. Security and Tenants will always know the origin of the call, i.e. “King Street Lobby”, “Yonge Street Lobby”. This service cannot be offered for free with standard dial-up products. Even if this service is purchased from the local telco, CallerID is limited to one ID per line. A site with 4 Entry Phones would therefore require 4 independent lines to provide CallerID – a rather expensive proposition. CallerID services are also available for all push button Intercom and Suite Panel devices.
Multiple Simultaneous Calling is possible on our ELP1040 Series. This feature is a pre-requisite for households with multiple Cellular phones. This feature also has applications in the commercial sphere whereby in combination with Call Scheduling, a business may wish to dail multiple numbers after hours.
If a call is placed to one number with a no answer or BUSY, up to 5 alternatives will be contacted in order of priority. Applications for this feature are many. For example: Guards may be called in priority, un-responded calls may be sent off-site to property management or outside service. Business tenants, in the case
of a no answer or busy may want to dial an alternative number(s). Residential tenants will find this application useful when they have a primary phone number with secondary fallbacks.
Calls may be re-directed depending on the time of day. A Residential Tenant may not wish to receive calls during the day, while a Business Tenant may wish to select another number for After Hours Call Forwarding
Ensure your tenant is in the building or request a PIN when granting access to a visitor. SecureCall (Intended for High Profile Residents)
For the Famous, Wealthy or Government officials, it may be prudent for these residents to have their name hidden in the directory list. Under these circumstances the 2D Dial Pass or Express Code are the only means of contacting the tenant. The 2D Dial-Pass is time-locked encoded and is the best means of maintaining security, as it can only be used during the specified time. The tenant may also provide an express code to the visitor, though it is less secure. Should an issue arise, the tenant may use his web-portal to change his express code.
