WIM Access Control Module

The WIM unit is a highly reliable networked device providing control to a single access point. On the network, each WIM is assigned an address and polled for security and operational messages, accepting codes from all residents for garage, elevator, gate and door access. AnyBit™ lets Condoplex products work seamlessly with existing card formats — ideal for retrofit installations.

The WIM can coordinate with intercoms so guards can quickly release elevators and doors on completion of a call, with the call, response time, termination and access granted all recorded to the audit logs. If it loses network communication, it can operate in a fail-safe mode based on site facility code.
