Building Entry and Visitor Communication
An entry phone is where a visitor reaches a resident, tenant or guard, and where the building decides whether to let them in.
The ELP 770 combines a 7-inch portrait touchscreen and a camera with SIP VoIP calling. Visitors can be answered on a phone or through the resident app, and missed calls are captured on video. It is made for multi-residential buildings and office towers, with indoor and outdoor models and surface or recessed mounting.
When choosing an entry phone, consider the screen size the lobby needs, where the panel will be mounted, how it will be powered (12 VDC or PoE) and what is already installed. For a larger 19-inch touchscreen, see the EP1040TU entry phone. The ELP 770 runs on the same server as intercom stations, access control and suite alarms, and is managed with them through Property Connect Plus. For replacement projects, a certified dealer can review the existing wiring and recommend what can be reused.
